6th Annual Saanich Recreational Pickleball Tournament
May 13th, 14th, 15th, 2016
* Tournament Registration Starts April 1st and it closes on May 6th. $40.00 per Team, per each Event. $20.00 per Singles Event
* Pearkes Recreation Centre 250-475-5400
* There will be a men’s singles event and a women’s singlesevent
* These events will take place on Friday, May 13th.
* There will be a men’s doubles event (16 Teams) and a women’s doubles event (16 Teams) consisting of 7 Round
Robin games. Top 8 Teams in each event will go to the ‘A’
Division. The other 8 Teams will go to the ‘B’ Division.
Playoff Format will be a Double Knockout unless you are
playing in Game 7 on the Playoff Board.
* These events will take place on Saturday, May 14th.
* There will be a Mixed Doubles Event (24 Teams) and a Mixed Doubles Event 65+ (8 Teams) on Sunday, May 15th.
* The 65+ Event will consist of 7 Round Robin Games and the Top Team being the number One Seed. Playoff Format will be a Double Knockout unless you are playing in Game 7 on the Playoff Board with all 8 Teams in the ‘A’ Division.
* The Open Mixed Doubles event will consist of 7 Round Robin Games. The Top 8 Teams going to ‘A’ Division.
* The next 8 Teams going to ‘B’ Division and the remaining 8 Teams going to ‘C’ Division. All 3 Divisions will play in a Double Knockout Format unless you are in Game 7 on the
Playoff Board.
* All Round Robin Games in every event will be to 11 points NO winning by 2
* All Double Knockout Games in Every Event will be to 11 Points and MUST WIN BY 2.
* ALL SEMI FINAL AND FINAL GAMES will be First to 15 points.
* THESE WILL BE GAMES 5, 6, 7, 10, 11 and 12 as noted on the Playoff Boards.
* All Singles Events….. You should arrive around 5:00 P.M. for Registration and warm up.
* Games START AT 6:00 P.M.
* All Doubles Events are done in Groups of 8 and are all done with a Random Draw.
* All Doubles Events….. You should arrive around 8:00 A.M. for Registration and warm up.
* Games START AT 9:00 A.M.
* THERE IS TO BE NO WARMING UP between Round Robin Games.
* There will be some lunch provided.
